High School Supply List
Due to the fact that high school students take a wider variety of courses than in middle school, there is no set supply list. General supplies are listed below, but specific class supply lists will be provided by individual teachers in the first class meeting.
All students are provided with a locker and lock for their books, and another in the locker rooms for their PE attire.
All High School students should have the following general supplies for use in all classes:
- Laptop or Netbook computer (not obligatory, but frequently used in classes)*
- Backpack with name in it
- Water bottle with name on it
- pair of scissors
- pens (red, blue, black)
- pencils
- erasers
- package of markers
- pencil sharpener
- small box of colored pencils
- highlighters
- glue or glue stick
- pencil case that holds supplies
- ruler with inches and centimeters
- paper
- notebooks or folders to organize each subject (subject specific requirements will be noted by the teachers)
- USB 1 GB Memory Stick
- Highly Recommended: Writing Research Papers - A Complete Guide (Lester and Lester) ISBN#: 0-321-23647-5
- TI 83 or TI84 Graphing Calculator necessary for students in Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics
*The High School has Mac laptop stations for student use during class. However, students are welcome to use their own laptops/netbooks.
Physical Education (Gym locker and lock are provided)
- At ACS all MS and HS students wear the ACS PE uniform (t-shirt and shorts). Uniforms are available for purchase at the school upon arrival. Students can also wear long athletic pants (preferably black).
