Principal's Welcome

Welcome to the ACS High School where we offer a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, but with the support necessary to enable students of varying abilities to succeed. The ACS Mission of instilling "a continuing commitment to integrity, respect and intellectual growth" guides our decisions both in and out of the classroom. Our goal is to develop the whole child, which is evidenced by our focus on not only academics, but also the arts, athletics, and other extracurricular activities. Our teachers care about kids and want their students to succeed.

The high school years can be some of the most challenging and most rewarding years in one's life. At ACS we strive to make these important years as fulfilling as possible so students leave ACS with a solid foundation of educational fundamentals as well as the skills necessary for success in their futures. The most gratifying thing we hear from a graduate is that ACS prepared them for their university careers and for life.

TOTAL	28 credits required for graduation
Electives are courses taken over and above requirements and may include elective offerings or additional core classes. In addition, students are expected to perform 20 hours of community service annually. All students grade 9 & 10 must take 8 credits, all 11 & 12 must take a minimum of 7 credits.
